Talk at Startup Weekend Francisco Beltrão 2026 on what MVP actually means: simple tests before big builds, and minimum that is still lovable.
MVP until Sunday · Startup Weekend Francisco Beltrão 2026
Brought Trustvox experience into Startup Weekend Francisco Beltrão 2026. I joined Trustvox in 2017. The sharpest lessons there were not from complex features. They came from simple tests that still counted as MVP.
The public “Chinelo Eu Amo Meu Cavalo” case is the example I used. It is a Trustvox MVP story: two stores, same product, one with a reviews widget and one without. That A/B setup showed about 20% more sales with reviews. The learning came before a large build, and it was enough to open doors with ecommerce owners.
The usual trap in a Startup Weekend rush is thinking Sunday needs a full system. An MVP is not a half-broken product. It has to be minimum and lovable. Cut scope without shipping something that ruins the test.
The test is there to check the thesis. If the hypothesis falls, the MVP still worked: you learned early instead of spending months on something that does not create value.
